Malnutrition is a state when the diet followed does not contain or overflow with nutritional kinds of stuff. These are said as undernourishment or over nourished. General ratio

Nutrition and diet pattern maintenance is very essential for children of age group 5 to 6 years. At this age, only 10% lesser of 100% of organs and intelligence develops. This gives a right start to the life of kids. The Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) implemented from 1974 covers the best comprehensive food scheduling or pattern. This allocates a budget every year and in 2015-16 there is seen a decline of around 9.6%, from 15,584 Cr (RE 2015-16) to 14,862 Cr (BE 2016-17). Few visible changes are Maharashtra state shows reduced quantity from 3,463 crores in 2015-16 {RE} to 1,307 crores {2016-17} BE)

The good news is that in recent years there are many organizations, woman associations, welfare groups, schools are defending for such children’s happy life. They are struggling very hard to bring up the socio-economic status of most backward or poverty line area by helping with some source of income.

The long-term fight is happening for the causes such as ill-effects of malnutrition, chronic hunger, lack of health-care and unstable livelihoods. In gross, based on the census conducted by NFHS 4, 2015-16, 21% of women alone have a full antenatal care in the country. The rest 50 percent of women were anaemic.
